In this one day introductory workshop to the Feldenkrais Method we will explore some basic Feldenkrais lessons that are not only made to change the way you move and hold yourself but we want to explore their potential to also make us feel better.
We say that we “feel down” when having a bad day or when feeling depressed. If we think of someone sad we picture him or her with the shoulders and head forward.
But what are the physical correlates of a good mood, of a mental state where we feel confident, happy and resilient towards the stress of modern life? And even more important: Can we actively make us feel better by moving?
Patricio Simon, neuropsychologist, Feldenkrais teacher and director of the Feldenkrais Institute will be happy to show you just how easy it can be to change the way you move and to let go of some persistent patterns of holding yourself. See how the Feldenkrais Method can help you make some powerful changes within yourself through gentle and intelligent movements. Move and be happy!
We will be offering two seminars this fall under this theme in Lisbon. They will address different lessons. You can book either one or both seminars.
