Barcelona

Barcelona, considered one of the most thrilling destination worldwide, offers a plethora of attractions. From arts, music, and diverse cuisine to beaches and mountains for outdoor enthusiasts, the city has it all. Barcelona’s excellent connectivity via direct flights and train links from across Europe makes it easily accessible. Its coastal location allows for relaxing beach walks and swims, complementing the vibrant city life.

Barcelona is a wonderful location to combine Feldenkrais with urban life. The proximity to the beach and the historic parts of the city, as well as numerous accommodation options, small restaurants, food markets etc. all create an individual and unique immersion for each student.

La Visiva, the location of our Feldenkrais training programs in Barcelona, is located in the Sant Antoni neighborhood, part of the L’Eixample district, with fantastic connections by metro, bus or car. Within walking distance you will find many shops, restaurants, pedestrian streets with typical Mediterranean street life and hidden courtyards ideal for spending your lunchbreak outside.

Our training program draws participants from diverse countries, with instruction conducted in English with Spanish translation by the renowned educational director, Mara Fusero and her team. Mara is globally recognized for her inspiring teaching style, enriched with accuracy, knowledge, applications of functional anatomy and a fantastic sense of humor.

Each training years is divided into five segments: four segments of 7 days and one longer segment of 12 days. Conveniently, the first segment of the program and the segments each February will be held online via Zoom.

We also provide study groups and online meetings between main training segments and missed training segments or days can easily be made up for in one of our other training programs.
